Since several people will be coming from other states for a longer period, we may plan some other activities in addition to the event on Saturday FEB 21. Listed below are some possibilities:
FRIDAY FEB 20 at 5:30 pm - Mingle, Munch & BINGO!
Casual evening get-together to chat, do some exchanges and play Southwest Letterboxing Bingo. Bring your own food and beverages.
Catalina Vista Clubhouse - Mt. Kimball room
14055 N Del Webb Blvd, Oro Valley, AZ 85755
For those of you that can be in the Tucson area the day before the "Roaming the World" event, we’ve reserved a clubhouse room on Friday evening. We can all mingle, do exchanges AND play Arizona BINGO for some “fabulous” prizes. Everyone can bring their own munchies/food and their favorite beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are OK).
Nearby places (within 5 miles) to pick up a light supper are In-N-Out Burger, Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Grandma Tony’s Pizza and several other places. Or bring a picnic supper (there is a Walmart and Safeway grocery store nearby).
Another option is to eat at “The Views”, which is the Sun City Oro Valley (SCOV) restaurant, beforehand. They usually have live music on Fridays starting at 4 pm. The restaurant address is 1555 E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, Oro Valley, AZ.

SATURDAY FEB 21 - "Roaming Around the World" event
9:00 a.m. - Event begins, clue booklets distributed
Noon - Potluck lunch
Time? - Group Photo
3:00 p.m. - There will be a free concert by A1 Reggae in the park.
Evening - ?
SUNDAY FEB 22
More letterboxing? There are many older boxes in Catalina State Park from an event in 2019 and other placements.
Afternoon bocce ball and/or free 9-hole mini-golf?
Visit Tucson attractions?
